Turns out it actually is possible to have a home inside of your home if you make a full-sized tree house inside it. This artist took her Brooklyn loft and turned into two separate homes by creating a simple but effective tree house.
Brooklyn is very short on green space as is much of New York but artist Terry Chiao didn't let that get her down and brought the great outdoors indoors. The full-sized tree house isn't particularly large but given the fact that it's built inside an apartment, this was to be expected.
The cabin is just large enough to fit a full-sized bed, night stand and a suitcase. Terry used to rent the cabin to travelers so the space is more than enough for a short-lived stay over.
