As the living space becomes more mutable thanks to the lack of televisions in many millennial homes, freeform furniture is also on the rise. At least, that is what designer Stephanie Marin of Smarin is foreshadowing with her latest collection, Les Angles. Known for her experimental take on contemporary designs, this line of freeform furniture isn't that surprising.
Inspired by the Penrose tiling system, the freeform furniture collection yields a unique series of seat arrangements. Swipelife writes, "The elements are composed of 100% wool with soundproof and insulation features. Moreover, the unique Les Angles concept can also work like a pavement as cover to the floor, walls and ceiling." It's hard not to appreciate such a concept.
