Freddo Ice Cream Shows That Even in Pain, This Treat is Delicious
Meghan Young — June 8, 2015 — Marketing
Freddo Ice Cream takes a different approach when advertising its frozen treat. Instead of focusing on the different flavors or how refreshing a scoop or two is during a hot summer day, its campaign images hilariously capture children in the midst of a brain freeze. As painful as the experience might be, the ice cream itself remains as delicious as ever.
Conceived and executed by the Young & Rubicam ad agency based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Freddo Ice Cream ad campaign was art directed by Emanuel Ventura with creative direction by Lisandro Grandal and Fernando Tchechenistky. The playful images of the suffering children were captured by photographer Andres Slater in studio for the best effect.
