Mogu designed the Foresta System to help consumers better integrate sustainability into their daily lives. The system acts as a modular acoustic panel. It is made from a unique blend of fungal mycelium and upcycled textile materials. This composition showcases how plant-based materials and recycled textiles can work in tandem to achieve a new sustainability standard.
Foresta is supported by a timber frame. Its structure can be mechanically fixed to the wall or a vertical surface. Additionally, each node is equipped with integrated magnets that allow the acoustic panels to be mounted on the frame and easily removed if required. The structure is free from any synthetic materials, nodding towards the brand's virtuous manufacturing process.
