The Forest of Light art installation is quite magical. In fact, imaginative children and adults alike are sure to believe that these glowing orb tipped reeds are the homes to fairies, or simply lighted path created by some sort of sorcerer. That wizardly individual is none-other-than UK light artist Bruce Munro.
Interestingly enough, the Forest of Light art installation is quite similar to Munro's Field of Light installation, which he exhibited a number of years ago. The Forest of Light installation, however, features over 20,000 different stems of light. In place of soft orbs of colored lights, these ones look more like mini acts of light graffiti captured and preserved in a transparent sphere. They also change hues with the help of halogen projectors that are fitted with rotating color wheels.
