The new campaign aims to dispel myths of what American poverty looks like, reminding the viewer that's the signs are not always as obvious as one might think. In the United States, 37 million people, including 11 million children, face food insecurity and hunger. In the ad, an AI character assumes the role of multiple people, telling the story of a young girl who doesn't want school to end because she doesn't know when she'll eat lunch next, or a single father who works three jobs, and still struggles to feed his family.
