Daily activities that are effortless for some are very challenging for others, but the Flume Bathtub hopes to change that -- at least when it comes to showering. It is a shower system that targets disabled individuals. It not only allows them to sit down comfortably and conveniently while they clean themselves, the Flume Bathtub also allows them to slip into it from their wheelchairs.
Designed by Kim Jung Su, Yoon Ji Soo and Kim Dong Hwan, the Flume Bathtub is so beneficial, it recently received a Red Dot design concept award. Working like a playground seesaw, the Flume Bathtub swings forward for easy access and then swings back to allow for a more relaxed lounging position.
