The floating +Pool concept aims to provide New Yorkers with a fresh section of water to frolic in during those blistering hot summer months. The great part about this concept is that designers want to use the dirty East River water and filter it to create something acceptable to dive into.
The idea came to a group of three young guys who decided it was time to create an area where the the people of New York could take shelter from during the summer months. With the floating +Pool concept, the readily available water in the East River provides all the volume needed, but requires a little filtering. The idea is still in progress, but at least these guys are trying to find a solution to the sweltering summer months in the city.
