Communication has become more digitally sophisticated over the years, mainly with the help of such apps as FlashChat. Showing its chops at SXSW 2015, FlashChat allows people to connect anonymously with those who are in their immediate vicinity. This is particularly helpful when it comes to not only networking, but sharing experiences in a safe and uninhibited way.
As long as people are using the same WiFi connection, they are able to communicate with each other over FlashChat. Although great for festivals and conferences like SXSW, FlashChat would also be great to use on school campuses, bigger work organizations and even businesses to create stronger bonds. As is written on Mashable, "We often say our online personas differ vastly than those offline, but now it's time for the two to converge."
