Mozzila has made some cybersecurity based changes to its firefox password manager. The browser will be able to notify users if their passport information was stolen, and will subsequently request users to change their passwords.
The feature was previously available with third-party password management tools but will not be automatically incorporated into the browser's Lockwise system. Firefox will also automatically sync logins across different devices.
With the new Firefox password manager, users will be notified with an icon if a password breach has occurred. Users will be able to see notification icons when they next log into something where a password has been stolen. The new feature could be seen in the next edition of the browser, Firefox 70.
As people depend on online information more and more, cybersecurity has become a top concern for many.
