Looking to help offer more enhanced solutions for policy holders, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts partnered with Ovuline on its fertility app.
Offering women support for everything from fertility, to help while pregnant the collaboration helps them to pinpoint information tailored to them and their relevant health information.
The collaboration with the 'Ovia' fertility app helps connect women to a lot of the different services covered by their policies that they might not even be aware of.
Although the pilot project was funded by Blue Cross Blue Shield, at launch the program had a total of 250 insurers signed on to the initiative. Detailing the collaboration, Ovuline CEO Paris Wallace explains that, "The insurance industry is trying to figure out better ways to connect and empower people...it's something we expect to continue on the Ovuline platform and in health care in general."
