When you hear the name Fendi I'm sure gelato does not immediately spring to mind, but the two do in fact go together now that Silvia Fendi has decided to try her hand at designing Fendi gelato flavors inspired by the fashion industry.

The result of her efforts are four flavors that are sure to raise more than a few eyebrows. Using the taste of such substances as aspirin, mozzarella, and Coca Cola Light (the European version of Diet Coke) as her guide, Silvia Fendi has created easily the most bizarre flavor profiles this frozen treat has ever taken on.

Made to celebrate the Whispered Grand Tour where the Maserati GranCabrio Fendi will be unveiled, the gelato flavors have inspired a few questioning nibbles among lovers of the label. While flavors like mozzarella and aspirin do inspire a fair amount of curiosity, they're not likely to catch on and become the next big Ben and Jerry's flavor anytime soon.

Falling into the territory of 'I dare ya' eating, these strange Fendi gelato flavors are for passionate, stop-at-nothing fashionistas and devote lovers of bizarre edibles.
