Why hasn't somebody thought of this earlier? The Fear Not Hammer is a remarkably simple concept that can save users from unnecessary pain. Embedded in the bottom of the handheld tool is a clever hardware holder that keeps your fragile fingers out of harm's way.
Cheng-Wei Wang's plastic attachment can be pulled from the base of the handgrip and placed up against a wall or a piece of wood. Positioned in one of two orientations, it can either prop up a nail for straight perpendicular installation or or a slanted application at 45 degrees. Your index finger and thumb hold this in place and when the head of the sleek Fear Not Hammer strikes down, your digits are protected by the length of the attachment.
