McDonald's New Fast Food Uniforms Were Created by Fashion Designers
Laura McQuarrie — April 18, 2017 — Marketing
Across thousands of chains across the United States, McDonald's employees will soon be sporting modern new fast food uniforms created by fashion designers for the first time ever.
The two new McDonald's uniforms were created by designers Waraire Boswell, who has designed for Will Smith, Bruno Mars and other celebrities, as well as Bindu Rivas, who has previously created professional uniforms for banks and airlines.
Some of the features of the new uniforms give those who work at McDonald's the option to wear an apron that folds to become a half-apron, in case the garment tends to get in the way when they are working. For these designs, Waraire Boswell was inspired by his own experience as a McDonald's employee years ago, remembering that comfort was of the utmost importance to him.
