The Fantastic Trailer by Cheryl Baxter is a mobile pavilion that is ideal when you are on the road. Baxter's draft columns were inspired by air dancers, and she spent several months learning how to craft columns that were both portable and stable.
This trailer consists of a base with three metal hubs on each side of the platform. There are circular pieces above each hub where pieces of fabric with three columns are hung. Air is pumped down each draft column to inflate the structure, and a strand of colored lights is put down each leg that comes in yellow, blue or green.
Cheryl Baxter is a Brooklyn-based designer who received her Master's of Architecture at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield, US. This trailer is truly fantastic because it is easy to transport a beautiful and portable display that is easy to assemble.
