I've always thought the artwork on currency was quite extraordinary, and apparently artist Dadara agrees as he's just completed work on his 'Exchanghibition' art exhibit which features artwork in the style of worldly denominations. But there's more to 'Exchanghibition' than just fancy money art.
Artist Dadara started work on the exhibit because he wanted to examine people's relationship with money and its current significance in the modern world. As he himself puts it, "In times when governments keep bailing out Banks with huge amounts of money, but are drastically cutting back on Art funding, it might be good to take an in-depth look at the value(s) of Art and Money and at the same time look where in this changing financial and cultural landscape opportunities for artists arise or can be created to earn money so they can keep pursuing their Dreams."
Admirers of the works found in the 'Exchanghibition' may purchase Dadara's pieces, literally exchanging money for more money.
