Whenever I hear about actors and actresses making their singing debut, my hopes are never high, but the Eva Mendes for Thierry Mugler commercial actually impresses me quite a bit.

You may have seen the actress' print ads and billboards for Thierry Mugler's iconic fragrance Angel. The French fashion house has tapped Mendes as the new face of the perfume, and in the Eva Mendes for Thierry Mugler TV commercial, the actress shows audiences her singing chops.

Mendes sings 'The Windmills of Your Mind' quite beautifully and shows viewers that she definitely deserves to be the face of the brand.

"They had the original version of the song and they said they wanted to modernize it," explains Mendes. "I quickly volunteered...It just happens to be one of my favorite songs."
