General Motors' 'EV Live' Service Provides One-on-One Informative Sessions
Colin Smith — July 29, 2022 — Autos
General Motors announced a new dedicated live video chat service named 'EV Live.' As the name suggests, the video chat service will be dedicated to providing information and answering questions surrounding electric vehicles. The purpose of this hotline is not only to attract more customers to the EV market, but also to debunk EV misinformation that is occasionally spread online or on television.
GM stated that its EV Live hotline will provide one-on-one support to callers who dial in. This means each individual customer will have the opportunity to speak to a trained expert on electric vehicles, either directly through video chat or through text chat, based on consumer preference.
In addition to launching this live chat, EV Live will also host prerecorded and prewritten content that is designed to answer some of the most commonly asked questions surrounding EVs.
