Eszter Imre has decided to experiment with traditional coffee and tea cups by creating her own collection of ceramic creations that interact with these beverages in one way or another. She essentially focuses on unique ways to grip the cup for comfort or even for making a statement.
For instance, Eszter Imre's Hug Cup allows the thumb to rest at a more natural angle by having the handle sweep upwards above the lip of the cup. The Hole Cup boasts a little tunnel that burrows through the body of the cup for a more comfortably positioning of the entire hand.
