Just over a year ago, Food52 launched its own line of kitchen tools called Five Two with the aim of launching its own essential cookware. Up until now, Five Two has launched cutting boards, aprons with built-in pot holders and other pieces designed with input from thousands of passionate foodies and its innovative cookware designs have been in the works for a while. Now, Five Two is finally introducing its perfected line of Essential Cookware, which introduces six new designs like a non-stick skillet, sauté pan, stockpot and saucepan.
Some of these designs include built-in colanders for easy straining, and also include marking on the inside to save people the trouble of having to use separate measuring cups. The lightweight, oven-safe designs are also affordable and will add great value to the lives of Food52's community of home cooks.
