Sonic recently rolled out a new lineup of 'Espresso Shakes,' along with the tagline "give your day a boost" at select locations. The new lineup includes two sweet, caffeinated shakes: the Espresso Classic Shake and the Oreo Espresso Master Shake. The former is made with vanilla ice cream blended with a double shot of espresso, and topped with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. The Oreo Espresso Master Shake features the same ingredients, as well as crushed up Oreo cookie pieces blended in. The result is two thick espresso-based shakes that are similar to the frappé drinks you'd find at most major coffee shop chains.
