Engineered Garments presents its latest collection designed for the Fall/Winter 2023 season and it highlights themes that surround the experience of the founder Daiki Suzuki. Before the launch of the imprint, he sourced vintage clothing and collectibles for Keizo Shimizu, the founder of Nepenthes -- this took place during the 80s and 90s.
Now, the capsule highlights those times, when he browsed through old magazines and this also serves as the influence behind the new FW23 lookbook as well. Speaking about the new range, he recalls that "The vendor was an old man who had several outdoor editions all dated from the 1910s up to the '60s. When I asked him to sell them all to me, he looked a bit sad and told me I would be buying his whole life. A part of me related with where he was coming from."
