The gorgeous Emily Seulki Uhm S/S 2013 Collection uses bold contrasting colors to grab your attention. The collection was created by Korean designer Emily Seulki Uhm, who recently completed her Masters from London College of Fashion. Entitled, 'Visual Illusion Through Textile,' the goal was to illuminate a woman's body by color and textile using elongating lines or "illusions."
The thisispaper website quotes Seulki Uhm as stating the collection is a, "reminder of the women's size issue by just a visual expression, and presents an effortless slender look from the collection to women without any artificial effort." In order to achieve achieve the effect the designer used silhouettes with undefined waists. And, then in each design creates a completely clean line by hiding the darts of sewing to leave the body unaffected by the stitchings.
