The Elmo Ukulele is made for children or adults who are young at heart. As its concise name gives away, it incorporates the visage of the beloved muppet. Even though his red coloring is not maintained in order to make the Elmo Ukulele appear as authentic as possible, it is hard not to smile at his face, which takes over the top part of the instrument.
Designed by Charles Lushear of Bohemian Workbench, who is known for using pop culture references in his work including Batman and Nintendo coffee tables, the Elmo Ukulele is a bit of a departure from his previous creations. Yet it is much more interactive and will appeal to many.
