The Elia Mangia Tuca-Tuca lamp is modeled on the classic style of the jacknife. While the kitchen utensil is often used for outdoor purposes, carried by most during fishing or camping trips, the designer worked the concept in to this Foundry piece.
The jacknife qualities come through the green blades that unfold. Mangia furthered this rustic element with a sturdy maple wood base. As the lighting piece is modern, it follows that the Tuca-Tuca runs on LED bulbs, conserving energy while sufficiently illuminating rooms at the same time. The hinges also allow users to fold up the product if need be, enabling it to be stored in most spaces, especially those that are cramped or compact.
