Considering that Doc Brown from 'Back to the Future' is, well, from the future, it would only be natural that he would be driving an electric DeLorean, don't you think?
Well, Wired Italy and eCars Now! Italy, certainly believe so. They have taken it upon themselves to create an electric DeLorean. Although not yet complete, it's almost ready. The venture wasn't easy, as Wired editor Massimiliano Ferramondo had to configure a 90 kW engine and custom Lithium-ion batteries that were designed specifically with the DeLorean in mind.
The electric DeLorean should be ready within the week.
