After a trip to Japan and Hong Kong, Mike Kravanis was inspired to use sushi ingredients to create edible cartoon characters. With intricate designs and clever details, Kravanis' characters look almost too good to eat.
Kravanis' edible cartoon characters draw inspiration from the Japanese practice of decorating bento boxes, also known as 'Decoben.' Using seaweed, rice and other edible ingredients, Kravanis manages to create incredibly detailed characters.
