Koda Quest is a mobile app and eco game that aims to bring awareness to the importance of sustainability to kids between the ages of five and 10.
The main challenge of the app is to care for a virtual polar bear by the name of Koda. Like a Tamagotchi, players will need to constantly check in to ensure that the bear is well cared for by being appropriately dressed, fed and regularly played with. In addition to the care component of the app, Koda Quest also inspires an eco-friendly attitude with real world missions for kids to try out, such as recycling and conserving water. To reinforce learning, the app also features two mini-games that further address climate change.
