This touching ad from the German food brand Netto Marken-Discount is reminding consumers to come together as a family this Easter holiday.

Presented in a fable-inspired style, this animated ad spot tells the fictional story of how Easter came to be. According to the ad, the holiday is the result of a hen and a rabbit meeting at a nightclub and giving birth to a baby bunny, hatched out of an egg. The adorable hybrid creature looks like a bunny, but lays eggs like a chicken, making for a few embarrassing accidents at school. The little creature runs around the forest laying colorful eggs, which are later collected by a few children from a neighboring city. This leads to international fame for the egg-laying bunny, who is later pictured lounging on a bed of carrots. By the end of the ad, the little creature decides to return home to spend time with his parents, who loved him prior to fame.
