The new Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC+ has 27bhp more than the AMG GT-R and is all-wheel drive.
The E63 S has a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with a nine-speed dual clutch, and boasts up to 604bhp and 627lb ft of torque that powers the car to go 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds, which makes it 0.2 seconds faster than the AMG GT-R. The sedan can outperform the supercar because it is engineered with fully variable torque distribution between the front and rear axles.
In 'Race' mode, the ESP is completely deactivated and the gearbox is switched to manual. This mode engages 'Drift Mode' and turns the car into 100 percent rear wheel drive. The E63 S can easily transition from luxury sedan to sleek supercar for when the driver is inclined for a more fun drive.
