The E+ Green Home by Unsangdong Architects is Organic and Geometric
Meghan Young — September 19, 2012 — Eco
The E+ Green Home is a striking example of eco-friendly residential architecture. It features a hilly aesthetic that is perpetuated by its grass-covered walls and roofs. Mixed with wooden and solar panel elements, the E+ Green Home is as environmentally conscious as it is good-looking.
Designed by UNSANGDONG Architects, the E+ Green Home is located in Kyeong Gi, South Korea. Although it has a very organic aesthetic, it is interesting to note that the E+ Green Home is also comprised of a slew of geometric shapes and angles that add a dynamic touch to the overall design. According to the designers, "E+ Green Home is defined as a new energy plus sustainable house by synthesizing all the optimized green technology and a string of intelligent energy saving system."
