'Unihertz,' the tech innovation company, will soon launch a Kickstarter for its new 'TickTock' phone which will compete with other dual-screen phones, such as the 'Samsung Galaxy Fold.' The TickTock features a small, 1.3-inch screen on the back of the phone where back cameras typically are. This screen is a small circular shape with a layered border that makes it appear as though a watch has been inlaid into the phone.
The small screen is accompanied by a 48 Megapixel camera, which allows for high-resolution selfies with the back camera, as the small screen will display the camera feed. Selfies taken with the back camera on traditional mobile phones, while they are also potentially high quality, are very difficult to frame due to the inability to see what the camera is seeing. The TickTock solves this issue while also offering a unique style.
The watch-style back screen has built-in customization options on the phone, allowing users to select their 'watchface' for the screen. If users would rather have a picture on this small screen, this option is also supported on release.
On top of this, the phone features a large, rugged bezel and a reinforced case making it durable and impact-resistant, as well as water-resistant.
