Dubai is once again attempting to knock the world's architectural socks off with their latest building, the Giant Pearl. The Duabi Giant Pearl is an all-in-one residential and work structure set to stand out amongst the magnificent skyscrapers and towers that dot the tiny Arab nation.
The Duabi Giant Pearl measures in at 20 million square feet and will require over three million man hours to construct. The Giant Pearl will have themed residences that will be built to customer specifications. The Giant Pearl will also house seven hotels, an untold number of restaurants and shops and an 1,800 seat theater. There's no word on when the project will be completed, but 95 percent of the residences inside the Giant Pearl have already sold, so I can't imagine it would take for than a few years to get this bad boy up and running.
