Budweiser Reminds People to 'Drink Wiser' This Halloween
Grace Mahas — October 28, 2019 — Marketing
This Halloween season, iconic beer brand Budweiser launched the 'Drink Wiser' campaign to encourage adults to drink responsibly and include waters in between beers. The initiative features real people who have been arrested for public intoxication on Halloween and displays their reimagined mug shot with disgruntled face makeup and costumes. However, this is not the first time Budweiser has reminded its consumers to drink responsibly -- over 100 years ago the brand launched the 'Budweiser Means Moderation' campaign.
On October 31 -- better known as Halloween -- social media users can follow and turn on their notifications for @BudweiserUSA for real0time reminders to 'Drink Wiser' and continue to drink water in between alcoholic beverages. The Drink Wiser campaign will be launched via social media and digital OOH in Philadelphia, New York City, and Chicago.
