Drink mixing is traditionally done by a bartender behind a counter, however Semtex is looking to change this idea by marketing a rather unconventional drink mixing appliance to club owners.
A provocative commercial for the 'Twerk Shaker' was created for the Czechoslovakian company by ad agency Zaraguza and headed by creative directors Michal Pastier and Igor Majkut. The ad follows two different woman twerking along to energetic music as the specially-designed drink mixing leggings that they wear are explained by text that superimposes the video. A cup emblazoned with the Semtex brand is placed into the back of the leggings as the women dance, with their intensive and impressive derriere movements eventually crafting the perfect drink.
Though the Twerk Shaker doesn't seem like the most practical method of drink mixing, its novelty appeal and its night club marketing focus are likely to make it sell.
