Dragon Age: Inquisition is the highly anticipated third installment in the Dragon Age video game series from BioWare that has had fans eagerly waiting its release for years. Although there’s still more waiting to do, it was just announced that the game is set for an October 7th release. The game is a follow up to Origins and Dragon Age II and in Inquisition, BioWare is promising that there will be more places to roam than ever before, as well as more options for main character customization. Users will be able to play as a male or a female character, in the form of a human, elf, dwarf or a horned race unique to Dragon Age, the Qunari.
Dragon Age’s lead designer Mike Laidlaw describes that “We wanted to remove the sense that the fantastic is casual, and to present the fantastic as something that for the common man, for the everyman is still very much fantastic.” As well as the adventure aspects of the game, the romantic storylines are also part of what makes the series so popular. Inquisition will have romance options for NPC players that main characters couldn’t be romantically involved with in previous editions of Dragon Age and this will certainly go over well with fans of the game who have fallen in love with characters like Cassandra Pentaghast and Cullen.
