The Double telepresence robot is able to virtually drive people around, similarly to if they were in the room. The most recent model is titled the 'Double 3,' and uses mixed reality live video to show users a display. Users can then click to where they would like to move in a given room.
The Double telepresence robot is able to use a number of different 3D sensors in order to navigate its environment and avoid blockages. The sensors in the robot allow the directional clicking system to operate without collisions. Users are presented with dots that they are able to move the Double 3 into and can operate the robot using either a web browser of the company's app.
