A Taiwanese company called NUWA Robotics is offering an adorable yet tech-packed desktop robot that is designed to make it possible for robotics enthusiasts of all skill levels to go about putting together a robot that can take on a host of tasks including responding to voice commands, holding video chats and offering games.
The 'RobotCreator DX' comes in the form of a DIY kit and includes a whole plethora of components ranging from sensors and an LCD display to microphones and servos. While this may sound intimidating to robotics newbies, the kit is designed to accessible and comes together with all the required tools and manuals to put it together.
Users can also make use of the 'RoFlow Workflow' cloud-based interface in order to program the robot and customize its functioning. What's more, users needn't have prior coding knowledge in order to use the platform.
Currently the subject of a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, the 'RobotCreator DX' can be secured for pledges starting at $599.
