Updating its space-saving photo app, IceCream has created a feature that allows users to discover photos on their friends' cell phones from an event they were at together.
The app allows users to send requests to discover photos that were taken on a specific date, matching times and dates to find only the relevant photos. However, the app doesn't automatically send all the images taken. Rather it respects the request recipient's privacy and helps them edit and delete the photo roll through the ever-popular Tinder method -- requiring the user to simply swipe right to keep the photo or left to delete.
Not surprisingly, the app's feature is called 'Discover' and will certainly be popular with teenage and Millennial markets, whose love of photos and immediacy will lend well to this app.
