Just when it seemed that every flavor of hummus had already been done, Trader Joe's has debuted a new Dill Pickle Hummus.
Just as the name suggests, Trader Joe’s Dill Pickle Hummus is all the pickle flavor you love, but in a creamy, spreadable form. The dip starts with chickpeas, which are cooked down along with whole dill pickles. The chickpea pickle mixture is then combined with tahini, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, and seasonings such as dried onion, garlic, black pepper, and dill weed. The result is a creamy dip that "may look like typical hummus on the outside, but every scoop delivers the terrific taste of pickles—albeit minus the crunch!"
