Designer Ammar Kalo is Experimenting with Unconventional Mediums

Designer Ammar Kalo is experimenting with rubber in the artist's latest design project, which features a series of tables that have been fitted with the unconventional design medium.
The tables are dominantly comprised of a gorgeous solid oak base, making for a sleek addition to the interior of any modern home. The way in which the rubber has been placed around the base of the table creates the appearance that the the table has been cut in half, revealing an oak interior. The sturdy tabletops combine industrial and more natural aesthetics in order to create something entirely unique that's sure to spruce up any contemporary home.
These tables were created for Fikra Campus -- a multi-disciplinary co-working space and design studio.
