Bourgeois works in collaboration with Lechasseur Architects to design the new Des Forges Residence which is a modern home located in Quebec, Canada. It is found in Les Forges specifically right by the Saint-Maurice River and is built within pine trees. The home resembles a three-sided star and it is made to “reflect and respect” its surroundings, the curvature of the rivers, and the topography.
The home features two floors and has three wings that come together at the central area that is made up of a curved staircase. The lower floor is cladded with stone and has a garage to house two cars along with a front entry away. This section also has the guest area and utility rooms.
