Phones would be a heck of a lot easier to use if they were designed like the Depict Phone. The Depict Phone is a conceptual telephone from designer Jang Jaeho that lets you call someone simply by writing down their name or drawing a picture.
The Depict Phone has an internal phonebook that can match names and shapes to numbers. Once you code a name and shape into the phone you can begin dialing without having to press any numbers. The result is a phone that actually looks like fun to use. The phone would be great for young children who may not be able to memorize seven-digit phone numbers, but can remember that daddy's phone can be called by drawing a square.
