The Denny's Hobbit-Inspired Menu is Made for Middle-earth Residents
Meghan Young — October 25, 2012 — Lifestyle
People will be able to get a taste of Middle-earth thanks to the Denny's Hobbit-Inspired Menu, which is set to debut on November 6, 2012. Created to help promote the first of three 'Hobbit' films, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," it will win potential audience members over through their stomach. Considering that Hobbits are known for their love of food, this is an appropriate campaign, to say the least.
Comprised of 11 items, the Denny's Hobbit-Inspired Menu will offer such dishes as the Hobbit Hole Breakfast, Frodo’s Pot Roast Skillet and Bilbo’s Berry Smoothie. Select Hobbit-inspired entrees will come with collectible trading cards. There will also be special placemats providing access to additional movie content via QR codes including videos, online games and a behind-the-scenes look at Denny’s national TV spot promoting the menu.
