Starbucks has announced that it will add a delivery option through more integration with its partner Uber Eats. The coffee chain is looking at nationwide delivery capabilities by the beginning of 2020. Currently, the delivery option is available in 11 US cities, including Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Orange County, San Francisco, Seattle and lastly, Washington, DC.
The coffee giant initially started its partnership with Uber Eats in 2018 and it launched two test programs located in Miami and Tokyo. Starbucks also expanded the delivery service in January of 2019 to London, as well as other United States cities. In addition, Starbucks has a well-developed delivery program in China using other platforms.
