PUMA and brand ambassador Big Sean teamed up for a debut collection inspired by the American rapper's "unique Detroit style." The footwear capsule boasts classic silhouettes with a contemporary twist in the styling. For example, Big Sean updated the 50th Anniversary PUMA Suede model with a new color—Ash.

Footwear is not the only focus of the Big Sean x PUMA debut collection, however. The American rapper also put a spin on classic pieces such as the T7 Track Jacket, as well as hoodies and t-shirts.

As PUMA is usually affiliated with sports figures and professional athletes, it is refreshing to witness a different direction for its fashion-forward collections. From Rihanna's FENTY to Big Sean's 2018 debut collection, PUMA is definitely tapping into the stylistic renderings of pop culture.
