Daniëlle Cathari Elevated adidas Classic Pieces for SS18

Rising designer Daniëlle Cathari worked with adidas Originals in reconstructing some of its most iconic silhouettes for Spring/Summer 2018. Cathari takes on the archival silhouettes and gives them a modern twist. The new collection is comprised of 10 pieces in total, experimenting with Daniëlle Cathari's unique approach to the concept of deconstruction and reconstruction with sportswear garments. The collaborative range features pieces such as jackets, parachute pants, a dress, bra tops, a skirt and a sweater.
The Daniëlle Cathari x adidas collection sees that the bra top offerings and parachute pants boast three different colorways -- with the options of either navy blue, black or white for all three. The jacket, skirt, and sweater get a full reconstruction from its original piece. The t-shirt and matching shorts take on a captivating yellow hue. The dress is more muted as it boasts a peach coloration. The pieces are constructed with lightweight seasonal fabrics such as satin, engineered jacquard, mercerized single jerseys and French terry fabrics.
