Models Dani Witt, Dasha Gold and Lera Tribel star in 'The Collections' editorial, appearing in the August 2015 issue of Harper's Bazaar UK.
Instead of many hats, it's masks that the trio of models have in heavy rotation. Each mask slips to reveal not the truth, but yet another mask, sucking the viewer deeper and deeper into a twisted wonderland, where nothing is as it seems. There is a nod to Lewis Caroll and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, along with other fairytales (Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood).
While the modern, grown-up treatment of fairytales in fashion is nothing new, it's the unique and subtle mixture of these different narratives that sets this editorial, photographed by Erik Madigan Heck, apart from the rest.
