Blurs and hazes tend to give photos an old world glamor, which the D Magazine March 2012 editorial can attest to. It has a film-like quality that accentuates the already retro fashion showcased throughout the photoshoot. Model Valeria Dmitrienko strikes sophisticated and elegant poses in front of Buenos Aires-born, New York-based photographer Diego Uchitel’s lens, as though she really were from a different era altogether.

Styled by Carlo Alberto Pregnolato, the D Magazine March 2012 editorial features the designs of such labels as Chanel, Burberry Prorsum and Gucci, among others. Colorful, textured and feminine, the outfits blend a touch of the 50s and 70s with present-day style. The looks were perfected with a flawless updo by hairstylist Moiz Alladina and red lips by makeup artist Stephen Dimmick.
