Italian design brand Lualdi recently launched a highly innovative customizable door system, created by designer and architect Marco Piva. The new model, aptly titled 'Ether,' consists of a door, a door jamb, and what the company calls a "vertical block" which houses the high-tech interface that powers this product. The technical aspect of this release was completed in collaboration with the automation technology company Microdevice.
The customizable door system can be adapted for use at home, as well as in the office and other settings. The smart device can be optimized to include features that the user needs—from security systems and lighting control features to doorbells, nightlights, and even air sanitation systems. The tech interface of Ether can be connected to any control system.
